Revisiting these photographs from Kerala, winter 2024 felt like opening a doorway back into fond recent memory. Mostly stored away on an SD card, the images suddenly brought back the lived memories of an extraordinary six-week journey, one rooted mostly in the stillness and discipline of life at the Sivananda Ashram near Neyyar Dam, and punctuated by slow explorations of the surrounding landscapes, especially along the coast. It was a period of full immersion into yogic traditions, where yoga revealed itself not as movement alone, but as a way of living, observing, and refining attention. Traveling light, I carried only my Fuji camera and a 23mm single fixed lens.
